OIKOS is a museum twinning project funded by the European Union (EU) to encourage partnerships between museums.

The three museums in the OIKOS partnership are the Benaki Museum in Greece, Setúbal Museums in Portugal, and the Oxfordshire Museum Service with the Museum of Oxford (Oxford City Council) in the United Kingdom. The project was initiated and led by the Oxfordshire Museum Service (Oxfordshire County Council, Cultural Services Department).

The three museums are grateful to the EU for this project, which makes their collections accessible to people in all three countries in their own languages, via new technology.

The program is aimed at museum visitors in the three countries, including family groups and school groups, wishing to explore comparisons between European cultures.
