The service comprises a number of museums and is based in the Convent of Jesus with an outstanding collection of late Medieval and Renaissance religious art, and includes a museum of historic toys, and other artefacts relating to Medieval life, the new museum of social and economic history, archaeology, goldsmith's work, tiles, and includes a museum education service.
