Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF)

This Department was set up 28 June 2007 and replaced the Department for Education and Skills (DfES).

It is responsible for improving the focus on all aspects of policy affecting children and young people, as part of the Government's aim to deliver educational excellence.
