NASS
The Home Office used to administer benefits and accommodation for Asylum Seekers through the National Asylum Support Service (NASS). NASS has now been replaced by the UK Border Agency. To qualify for support, Asylum Seekers have to show that they are without adequate accommodation and unable to support themselves to the extent that they are destitute.
