Recovery Order

This is a court order made under section 50 of the Children Act 1989 in relation to a child who is in Police Protection or is the subject of an Emergency Protection Order, Interim Care Order or full Care Order. It operates as a direction to produce the child or disclose his or her whereabouts, and authorises a Constable to enter specified premises and search for the child using reasonable force if necessary.
