Regulation 30

Under Regulation 30 of the Children's Homes Regulations (England) 2001, certain significant events, such as the death of a child, the outbreak of certain infectious diseases and the involvement of the Police in managing an Incident must be notified to managers and others outside the home.

The others who may have to be notified include the Regulatory Authority, Health Authority and child's Placing Authority.
