Travel and transport
A Residential Travel Plan is in place to encourage eco-friendly transport in Kingsmere.
A new roundabout will be built on the A41, which will be the junction of a new perimeter road to Southwest Bicester. There will also be a signalised junction on the A41 leading into Kingsmere. The Chesterton slip roads will be replaced by a link road to the Roman road from the roundabout.
The estate will be built in line with the existing landscape, so that the farmland in the area can still be used. Excessive noise and light will be kept to a minimum.
