Neville Rainsley's Smallest Show on Earth has electric lights
and a series of miniature curtains with tableaux; the Ferris
Wheel revolves and is electrified. Rainsley's animated models
were displayed at Oxford's St Giles' Fair in the 1920s. The
actual, full-sized rides and shows they depicted were created
                    and animated by fairground travellers.
